I'm glad to see that some people are still interested :-) I was looking at a few pictures and paintings and quite a few guys have eastern type muskets like Indian snap locks and early flint locks...Might try to make my own am already making my own bardiche (atleast attempt to anyways hehe) Any links for clothing patters like pants?

Don't just watch the trailers for 1612, watch the film! It can be gotten on Netflix, and perhaps other sources as well. Awesome film, tons of good fun.

And while on the topic of Russian films, someone posted the below on Frontier Folk some weeks ago.... It's a film that is set during the battle of Poltava (1704) as a part of the Great Northern War. I've been searching for this movie since, but I can only find the bloody thing in PAL/Region 2 format. If anyone can help my find a copy of it in Region 1/NTSC format, I would be eternally grateful!

Yeah, I give 1612 two thumbs up. In fact, when they were compiling the list of inspirational films for GURPS Low Tech, I really pushed that for inclusion.
